Well here I go with my first post. Guess I should start with myself. I'm 60 yrs. young or old, take your pick. There are days when I feel 80 and days when I feel 15, always a new adventure when I wake up in the morning. Things I like to do: Knit, crochet, tat, paint, wood carve, work with crystals, herbs. I love to read many types of books.I live in the USA and have lived in Attleboro, Massachusetts most of my life, born in Randolph, Vermont. Have also lived in Montana and Idaho. Loved it out there.
Married twice have 3 beautiful daughters with voices like angels when they sing. 11 grandchildren whew! It's been a busy life so far and hope it continues for a long, long time. Both of my parents are still living and I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. At present I live with my middle daughter and take care of her 2 boys. Never had so much fun in my life but I sure do get tired. I keep telling myself " You're not 20 anymore" but I find that my brain does not always comprehend that until I've played with the boys so much I have trouble getting out of bed the next morning. I am very happy with my life but wish my other 2 daughters lived closer so we could spend much more time togeather.
As far as the future, well each day holds it's own surprises and I look forward to them whether good or bad.
At the moment I am trying to finish knitting a pair of socks made with yarn from knitmanskitchen.com. I love the yarn but it seems to be taking me forever to finish them. I am doing 2 at a time on 2 circulars, magic-loop. When this pair is finished I will start another.
In December I will be having surgery AGAIN on my ankle to correct a faild fusion. This time with a specialist that only does ankles. The other doctor (DR F you know who you are) made major errors and they have to be corrected if possible or I will not be able to walk. I really don't want to be in a wheelchair.
